Jack Hobbs

Senior Associate

Jack is a senior associate in our property team with expertise in acquisitions, disposals (including the sale of distressed assets), leasing and other property matters.


His practice includes subdivision and development, conveyancing and leasing for commercial, agricultural (including water rights), industrial and residential land as well as advising on acquisition financing.


Jack has particular expertise in working on mixed use developments that involve a combination of “off the plan” sales, agreements for lease and associated leasing documentation.


Prior to specialising in property, Jack commenced his career as a litigator acting for a range of institutional clients with a focus on insurance and recoveries. He is able to draw on this experience as required to provide strategic advice when closing a commercial deal or providing a pragmatic approach to resolving disputes concerning concluded transactions.


Jack graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of International Relations (majoring in Indonesian) from Deakin University.
